INNER FACE GRINDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly precisely grind a work on its inner periphery in a simple structure. SOLUTION: A work is ground on its inner periphery by cut-feeding, while rotationally driving, a grinding wheel spindle 3a and a grinding wheel 3 provided at the end to a work W. A cut-feeding speed is controlled corresponding to the diameter of the grinding wheel so as to approximate the grinding resistance in a tangent direction to a predetermined target value and a grinding wheel outer periphery 3b is tapered for dressing so as to make the grinding wheel outer periphery 3b in parallel to a target grinding plane independently of the deflection of the grinding wheel spindle 3a due to the cut-feeding.
