PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for proliferating an alga, enhancing the proliferation rate of the alga. SOLUTION: This method for proliferating an alga comprises the first step for receiving the culture solution 6 of the alga (for example, chlorella) in a water tank 5 and the second step for irradiating the culture solution 6 with the light of a light source 12. Therein, the initial concentration of the alga is controlled to <=20,000,000 cells/cc in the first step. |
