<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform transmission beam forming when incoming signals are present and to stop the transmission beam forming, when the incoming signals are not present. SOLUTION: In a CDMA radio base station 11, plural incoming beams are formed electrically by executing beam forming to signals received by the plural antenna elements of a reception side array antenna in a reception beam former RBF, and reception is performed based on an optimum beam (for instance, the beam of maximum power) among the plural incoming beams. Also, a transmission beam former TBF for executing the beam forming to transmission signals is provided and a control part CNT controls whether or not to form the outgoing transmission beam of the same direction as the incoming reception beam by forming an outgoing beam to form the outgoing beam.</p> |
