PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent light emission omission (transmission leakage) due to the low charging amount of a capacitor by raising the charging voltage value of the capacitor for permitting the light emission of a flashing light emitting means when an information transmission amount is large. SOLUTION: For this optical transmitter for transmitting information through utilization of the light emission of the flashing light-emitting means 105 for emitting light by using electric energy charged to the capacitor 103, a light emission permission means 109 for permitting the light emission start of the flashing light-emitting means when the charging voltage of the capacitor 103 reaches a prescribed voltage is provided and the light emission permission means is made to change the value of the prescribed voltage, corresponding to the amount of the information to be transmitted. When the information transmission amount is large, since the charging voltage value of the capacitor 103 for permitting the light emission of the flashing light-emitting means is raised, the light emission omission (transmission leakage) due to the low charging amount of the capacitor 103 is prevented. |
