PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precise and compact roller assembly simple in handling a soft sheet material like paper. SOLUTION: An opening part 18 communicated selectively to a vacuum source or a pressure source on an outer surface of a roller assembly 10. This opening part 18 is directed to a direction along a rotation axis of a roller and gives a vertical speed component in the tangential direction of surface speed of the roller to paper. Additionally, alignment of the paper is improved by connecting this opening part 18 selectively to the pressure source and the vacuum source, and as it is possible to save plural paper delivering parts, to change various speed of the roller or to reverse the paper, it is possible to print on a first or second surface. |
