PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the abrasion resistance, and to obtain desired volume resistivity. SOLUTION: This slidac resistor 2 is provided with a sliding resistance layer 4 obtained by applying carbon paste formed by mixing at least carbon powder into a binder on a substrate 3, and sintering it, and a slider 5 is allowed to slide on the sliding resistor layer 4. In this case, the carbon powder and molybdenum disulfide is contained in the sliding resistor layer 4. The molybdenum disulfide has superior lubricity and abrasion reducibility so that the abrasion resistance of the sliding resistance layer 4 can be improved. The volume resistivity of the molybdenum disulfide is considerably larger than that of a plate-shape graphite, so that even when the mixing rate of the molybdenum disulfide into the carbon paste is increased, the resistance value of the sliding resistance layer 4 may not be reduced so much. Thus, while the superior abrasion resistance is maintained, the desired resistance value can be obtained.
|
