<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute a recording processing from the present position of a video cassette in the case that a program for which overwriting inhibit is set is not present. SOLUTION: A control part controls a memory card signal processing part and reads the contents of a tape protection bit stored in the tape data field of a memory card (S1). Then, whether the read tape protection bit is set to '1' or '0' is judged (S2). In the case of judging that the tape protection bit is set to '0', processings (S3-S7) are skipped and a recording treatment is executed from the present position (S8). Thus, in the case that the program for which the overwriting inhibit is set is not present, the recording processing is quickly started.</p> |
