PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate releasing work from a die by forming a trimmed taper in an outer circumferential face of the outer circumference fitting part of a sealing device by a specific split die and relatively moving another split die, which forms an internal circumferential face of the outer circumferential fitting part, to the specific split die along with the outer circumference fitting part in opening the die. SOLUTION: A die is provided with a plurality of split dies composed of a cope 21, a drag 22, a first and second hit insertion dies 23, 24, first and second mandrels 25, 26, the cope 21 forms an outer circumferential face 1b of an outer circumference fitting part 1 as a specific division die and has a tapered part 21a whose diameter is gradually enlarged downward for forming a trimmed taper 4. The mandrel 25 forms the internal circumferential face of the outer circumference fitting part 1 as another division die. After molding, the mandrels 25, 26 start to lower relatively to the cope 21 by the dead weight at the same time of opening of the die. It is because that the outer circumference fitting part 1 is brought in contact with the cope 21 in the trimmed taper 4 so that the outer circumference fitting part 1 is prevented from being caught by the cope 21 in releasing. This constitution can save the labor by relatively lowering the mandrels 25, 26 to the cope 21 so as to facilitate the die releasing work. |
