PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice output device with which voice information can be outputted while reducing burden for a user. SOLUTION: This device is constituted by having a knowledge data base 1 for holding information to be reported to the user, speaking sentence generating part 2 for generating a speaking sentence based on the knowledge data base 1, and voice synthesizing part 3 for synthesizing voices while using the speaking sentence. In this case, a speaking length control part 4 is provided for controlling the length of speaking from the voice output device per speech time, the speaking sentence generating part 2 has the index of the speaking sentence length as a parameter to be used for generating the speaking sentence and this parameter is received from the speaking length control part 4. |
