PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of satisfactorily generating electricity by hydrogen-rich reformed gas and air by preventing an anode catalyst from being poisoned by a light hydrocarbon such as methanol on the like remaining in modified gas. SOLUTION: In this fuel cell, the catalyst layer of an anode part 30 is composed of a first anode layer 31 and a second anode layer 32. A metal catalyst particle with 2 nm of an average particle diameter is carried on the first anode layer 31 as catalyst for hydrogen burning reaction, and another metal catalyst particle with 10 nm of an average particle diameter is carried on the second anode layer 32 as catalyst for methanol decomposition and removing. |
