PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coffee liquid extractor which is more compact and simpler in structure than extractors of the prior art and which allows all of soiled parts and elements to be cleaned easily. SOLUTION: A coffee liquid extractor has a water heater or boiler 2, an extraction cylinder 6, a driving motor 8 driving the extraction cylinder 6 along the longitudinal axis of a housing, a closure piston 3 closing the open end of the extraction cylinder 6 to form an extraction chamber, and an extraction piston 5 arranged within the extraction cylinder 6 in such a way as to move freely along the longitudinal axis relative to the extraction cylinder to compress coffee powder stored in the extraction cylinder 6 and to remove a cake of the coffee powder extracted. In this case, the closure piston 3 is rigidly connected to the coffee liquid extractor, and an extraction module 4 having the extraction cylinder 6 and the extraction piston 5 is freely releasably inserted into the coffee liquid extractor. |
