PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration proof supporting device capable of providing a diaphragm with enhanced durability by preventing strong collision with other member encountered in elastically deforming the diaphragm constituting an auxiliary fluid chamber. SOLUTION: Applying a heavy load to a vibrator in the supporting direction suddenly recesses a diaphragm 42 toward the inner periphery surface of a device case 43, resulting in elastic deformation. At this time, the diaphragm tends to suddenly collide with the device case. Prior to that, the diaphragm at its thick part 42a collides with cushioning members 35 provided on ribs 34c in advance. The resulting elastic deformation of the cushioning members relaxes the sudden recess of the diaphragm. Thus the diaphragm does not collide with the device case by suddenly high force, causing no possibility of breakage, etc., even if the diaphragm comes into contact with the device case. The result provided the diaphragm with enhanced durability. |
