PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a pneumatic tire that drains water efficiently through a tire widthwise groove. SOLUTION: A main groove 14 and a lug groove 16 intersect on a tread surface. A projection 22 with a rectangle shape in plan view is formed facing to the intersection part. The projection 22 is provided with an inclined face 26 downward to a point 22a. Accordingly, water which reaches the intersection part is branched equally by the rectangular projection 22 into both the main groove 14 and the lug groove 16. At this time, the water can be branched smoothly at the projection 22 by the aid of the inclined face 26 thereof. |
