PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the drive current at the start of fan revolution for avoiding the fluctuations in load on a control power supply and thereby reduce heating loss in a regulator. SOLUTION: When a fan drive determining means 1 receives a command from CPU to have a fan driven, the fan drive determining means 1 determines that the fan is to be driven. An output based on the determination is provided to an on/off control means 2. The on/off control means 2 is for interrupting (turn on and off) a drive current, when the fan is driven. The fan is on/off- controlled for a fixed period of time, according to on/off-control signals output from the on/off control means 2. After the on/off control has continued for the fixed period of time, a means 3 for shifting the fan into an on-state is actuated, and the fan is kept in the on-state. |
