PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image processor which improves productivity while suppressing a use memory by seeking for multivalued error data by utilizing image data from a gray level converting means and performing error correction. SOLUTION: An image signal D is a 8-bit digital image signal of 256 gradations. An MTF correcting part 1 gives an image signal D1 of an attentional pixel which performs MTF correction of the signal D in order to improve contrast to a binarizing part 4 and also outputs the value of image data that is one line previous to the attentional pixel as an image signal D54. The part 4 inputs the signal D1, the signal D54, binarized error data E2 after delay, binarized slice value S and binary delay data NNmn and outputs a binary output N and binarized error data E. Thus, a multivalued image data is converted into binary and outputted. Then, it is possible to reduce a memory as the entire device and to improve production efficiency. Also, a circuitry can be simplified as a whole. |
