METHOD OF DELIVERY GEOPHYSICAL INSTRUMENTS INTO HORIZONTAL WELLS BY CABLE

FIELD: instrumentation for geophysical investigations. SUBSTANCE: method relates to geophysical investigations of horizontal wells. Used for realization of method is combination cable. Upper part of combination cable consists of standard geophysical cable. Lower part of combination cable is made up of cable with increased rigidity and enlarged diameter. Geophysical instrument is delivered to interval under investigation by force occurring due to difference in diameters of lower and upper parts of cable at creation of pressure at well head equal to 6-7 MPa. Application of aforesaid method allows for reduction of labour-intensity in operations, improving efficiency of geophysical investigations and reliability of overall geophysical work on well.
