SUBSTANCE: when distilling styrene from reaction mixture, dioxyme-quinone styrene-polymerization inhibitor is used in combination with vanillin-barbiturate additive in amount 0.5-1.5 weight parts for 1 weight part of dioxyme-quinone at total consumption of composition 0.0250-0.0521% based on the weight of styrene, dioxyme-quinone being added to heated styrene 2 hr after addition of primary inhibitor and start of heating. EFFECT: increased up to one a and half % yield of commercial styrene. 4 cl, 1 tbl, 16 ex
