PURPOSE:To inexpensively, easily and accurately prepare an embossed plate. CONSTITUTION:A transparent resin film is pressed to a source document to take a film like mold having the unit patterns of the source document (S1, S2). The film like mold is wound around a cylinder (S3) to be read by a scanner and the thickness of the film like mold is grasped as transmission density data (S4). The unit patterns are displayed on the screen of an image processor on the basis of the transmission density data and a plurality of the unit patterns are allowed to continue to perform the correction of joints to prepare continuous pattern image data (S5, S6). A machine plate is formed on the basis of the continuous pattern image data to prepare an embossed plate (S7, S8). |
