<p>PURPOSE:To easily and quickly find out a desired video image from a recording medium for preservation by controlling the write and the read and the recording and the reproducing of each of the retrieving data and the retrieving information signal of the recording medium for preservation of an information signal attached with the retrieving data by a host computer. CONSTITUTION:The information signal attached with the retrieving data is recorded, and a video cassette tape 7 stuck with a label through a bar code printer 5 is stored in an automatic warehouse. The sampled still picture and the moving picture of the retrieving information of a part of this information are recorded in a disk and a small-sized cassette tape by a still picture recording /reproducing device 10 and a cart machine 11 controlled by the host computer 8, and the retrieving data is written in an external storage device 9. Afterwards, the retrieving information of the tape cassette for preservation designated and taken out automatically by a terminal 13 is reproduced by the device 10 and the machine 11 controlled by the computer 8, and the desired video image is found out easily and quickly on the basis of the retrieving data of the device 9, and is used for editing, etc.</p> |
