PURPOSE:To provide a current lead for superconducting equipment which can remarkably reduce the heat intruding into a cryogenic container from the outside with a simple structure without cooling the container with a cryogenic gas nor liquid and can reduce the evaporating amount of such an expensive coolant as the liquid helium, etc. CONSTITUTION:A current lead for superconducting equipment is contrived to reduce the temperature gradient between the lead and superconducting equipment 2 as much as possible and is provided with high-temperature superconducting current leads 35 and 74 which are thermally brought into contact with the second cooling stage 33B of a refrigerator 33. The low temperature side intermediate section 32E of a vacuum vessel 32 is thermally brought into contact with the second cooling stage 33B of the refrigerator 33. The high temperature side intermediate section 32B of the refrigerator 33 is not thermally brought into contact with the stage 33B, but constituted in a non-contacting section 32D. In addition, the temperature at the bottom section 32F of the vessel 32 is made equal to that at the equipment 2. |
