FIELD: wine-making industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to producing fruit-berry wine materials. Strain Saccharomyces cerevisiae Kizilovyi is deposited in Collection of industrial microorganisms at N Y-2280. Strain is isolated from yeast deposit obtained after the spontaneous fermentation of Cornelian cherry fruits juice. Strain ferments glucose, sucrose, maltose, galactose and 1/3 of raffinose and shows the high fermenting activity at 18-20 C. Strain ferments Cornelian cherry must at sugar content 15.66 g/100 cm at good efficiency and accumulates 9.2 vol. % of an alcohol.
