FIELD: hydraulic impact apparatus for grinding coal. SUBSTANCE: method of preparation of water-and-coal suspension includes metered delivery of components for grinding the coal to required milling fineness; grinding the coal and mixing it in liquid medium will be performed in hydraulic impact apparatus generating pulses at frequency of resonance breaking of particles. Rotary hydraulic impact apparatus includes housing with inlet and outlet branch pipes, inner rotor with blades of centrifugal pump and cylindrical ring over whose diameter slotted diffusers are made. Outer rotor concentrically embraces inner rotor and is provided with contractions over perimeter of its cylindrical ring. Outer rotor may rotate in direction opposite to flow. Number of diffusers and contractions are related by definite relationship. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of preparation of mixture. 3 cl, 1 dwg
