MOLD FOR PRODUCTION OF CUT-OFF ABRASIVE WHEELS

FIELD: abrasive industry. SUBSTANCE: mold may be used to obtain cut-off abrasive wheel with vulcanite binding and two- sided undercutting, with height decreasing from periphery to center, in one mold during one stroke of press. Mold has mandrel with upper hollow punch. Molding insert of upper profile of molded wheel blank with internal blank pusher is mounted in punch. Matrix consists of base and ring with built-in circular clamp spring-loaded relative to base. Clamp internal diameter is equal to external diameter of wheel blank. Spring-loaded blank pusher is mounted in circular cavity formed by circular clamp and lower cylindrical punch. Blank pusher is provided with operating surface of molding of wheel lower profile and with external cutting edge. From side of plane facing the base pusher is fitted with stop of travel. Pusher may move forward. Value of pusher travel is less than that of clamp motion. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency, improved quality. 1 dwg
