<p>An applicator (1), designed for once-only use, comprises a base layer (2) with at least part of its surface covered by flocking with a mixture of fibres (3) and the powder (4) to be applied, with the powder comprising 0.1 - 40 % of the mixture, and preferably 5-20%. The base layer of the applicator is made from a plastic or elastomer material, a textile/paper or cellular substance. The fibres are of nylon, cotton, rayon, polyamide or polyester, or a mixture of these in different lengths and diameters. Part of the base layer is left free of fibres for holding.</p> |
