<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convey a vessel in a condition where it is positioned with high accuracy irrespective of its shape and deformation. SOLUTION: An open and close drive mechanism 11 consisting of slide units 13, 14 which are opened and closed in the width direction of a conveyor 1 is provided on a reciprocating table 7 which reciprocates in parallel with the conveyor 1 to clamp an elliptical vessel 2 which is conveyed on the conveyor 1 by clamp plates 15, 16 attached on front end sides of sides of the slide units 13, 14 which constitute the open and close drive mechanism 11. Consequently, it is possible to position the elliptical vessel 2 which is conveyed on the conveyor 1 in the direction of its conveyance and improve positioning accuracy of a label which is attached on the elliptical vessel 2 by, for example, a label attaching device 3.</p> |
