METHOD FOR MAKING COLD ROLLED STEEL BANDS AND LINE FOR PERFORMING THE SAME

摘要

FIELD: processes for cold rolling of stainless steel or metallic bands in rolling line. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of descaling hot rolled band by fluid jet treatment and(or) by grinding with brushes and(or) by ultrasonic cleaning. Descaled band is cold rolled until final thickness at reduction 80%, annealed, cooled and then it is etched. All above mentioned operations are performed in the same line. EFFECT: enhanced quality of surface of cold rolled band. 1 dwg
