Electrically powered heat reservoir for bed-warming

The cylindrical reservoir is placed on the base station (10) which supplies electric current to the heating element (7). The heat is transferred to glass particles (6) and to a small quantity of water (2). As the water boils, resultant bubbles of steam rise through the coagulated paraffin (3), transferring heat. After heating, the reservoir is used to heat beds. Paraffin has a greater heat carrying capacity than water. The reservoir therefore stays hot longer than a traditional hot water bottle.
