<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize the band resources of an ATN network by returning a VCC to a normal route to release the VCC setting state of a bypass route when a new VCC can be set in the remaining band of a VPC of the normal route. SOLUTION: When the band of a requested VCC cannot be set in the remaining band of a VPC 640 of a normal route when a VCC setting request is received from a terminal 610 to a terminal 611, the VCC controller of an ATM node 620 sets the route and the band of the VCC on a bypass route composed of plural VPCs which pass a route equal to that of the normal VPC 640 that is previously designated. A return execution device of ATM nodes 620 and 623 set at both ends of the VPC 640 switches the VCC route to the VPC 640 from the VPC 641 and 643 of the bypass route when the VCC band set on the bypass route can be set in the remaining band of the VPC 640 of the normal route. Then the VCC that is set on the bypass route is released.</p> |
