Currency converter in tape measure format, using two linked tapes

The currency converter has two tapes that move in synchronism to show a currency value on one tape (RM) and its equivalent on the second tape. The two tapes are coupled by a belt-coupled 'gearbox', and as one is rotated (AX) by a knob on the outside of the box the other moves in synchronism. A return spring (RT) and a lock similar to that used in a tape measure is employed
