PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for a separate converter for a source or destination processing system to each data format by converting data from a source format into a standard format and converting it from the standard format into a destination format. SOLUTION: A transmission broker process 112 first identifies the type of transmitted data and extracts a formatting rule based on the identified data type. The data is parsed from a source format and is formatted to a standard format according to the formatting rule. A receiving broker process 110 first identifies the type of received data and fetches a formatting rule, based on the identified data type. The data is parsed from the standard format and is formatted to a destination format according to the formatting rule.
