PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control unit for vehicle (ECU) with which the stop of power supply can be surely prevented just in the middle of reloading data in a reloadable non-volatile memory. SOLUTION: When a password code in a flash memory and a password code from a reloading device are coincident after the reception of a reloading request from the reloading device (S220: YES), the ECU provided with a microcomputer for executing reloading processing (S230-S260) for reloading all the data while including a control program in the flash memory supplies the power of a battery through a main relay whose contact is short-circuited when the ignition switch (IGSW) of a vehicle is turned on or a driving signal is applied. When the IGSW is turned on and operation is started at the same time, the microcomputer outputs the driving signal to the main relay and when the execution of reloading processing is completed and the IGSW is turned off (S270: YES), the output of the driving signal is stopped. Thus, even when the IGSW is turned off during the execution of reloading processing, the supply of power to the microcomputer is continued. |
