PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the power generating capability of engine power generating equipment effective, by applying the load on an engine generator with higher priority, and supplying shortage amount from a commercial power system if an increase in the load causes output voltage drop down to the commercial power system. SOLUTION: When the DC output voltage Veg0 of an engine generator is higher than the DC output voltage Vac0 of a commercial power source 20 and engine speed rises sufficiently up to an ordinary operating condition, the DC output voltage Veg of a converter 13 is higher than the DC output voltage Vac of the commercial power source 20, and a diode 24 is kept in a backward- bias condition to inhibit continuity. A diode 14 is kept in a forward-bias condition, therefore, power supply to load 35 through the inverter 30 is conducted exclusively by an engine generator 12. When the output voltage Veg of the converter 13 is lower than the DC output voltage Vac of a converter 23, the diode 24 has continuity, and the diode 14 is kept in a backward-bias condition to inhibit continuity, thus it is possible to conduct power supply from the commercial power source 20 to the load 35. |
