<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the oxidation of an aperture mask and prevent the generation of color displacement or nonuniformity of a screen, when it is used for a color image receiving tube by sealing it together with an oxide absorbent, which does not require moisture for absorbing oxide and a dehumidifying agent into a gas barrier container. SOLUTION: An aperture mask is sealed together with an oxide absorbent which does not require moisture for absorbing oxide and a dehumidifying agent, preferably furthermore, an acid vapor absorbent into a gas barrier container. The oxide absorbent contains mainly unsaturated organic compounds of an unsaturated fatty acid compound and chain hydrocarbon polymers having unsaturated groups, and thermoplastic polymers such as polyamide or polyolefine, and preferably contains oxide absorption accelerating materials. Ratio of each component in the oxide absorbent is preferably 0.01-40 pts.wt. of the oxide absorption accelerator, and 1-1,000 pts.wt. of carrier material with respect to 100 pts.wt. of the main agent. As the dehumidifying agent, paper or synthetic paper made of natural pulp or synthetic pulp, silica gel, synthetic zeolite or the like is used.</p> |
