PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sorting method of electric wires enabling tin-containing wires and tin-noncontaining wires to be sorted out in a surer and easier way. SOLUTION: A core part 2 of a tin-containing wire 1 consists of a plurality of copper-clad wire strands 3. The copper-clad strands 3 each comprises a copper-clad layer formed on the periphery of an iron core layer and a tin-plating layer formed on the periphery of the copper-clad layer. A tin-noncontaining wire is formed of materials excluding ferromagnetic bodies. In recovery of wastes consisting of such tin-containing wires 1 and tin-noncontaining wires, only the tin-containing wires 1 are attracted and sorted out from the other tin-noncontaining wires by using the property of a magnet of attracting ferromagnetic bodies.
|
