<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector in which a stand-by state of one connector housing is surely kept, when a male connector housing is fitted with a female one, and both connectors can be easily and surely fitted with each other by smoothly introducing another connector housing in the one connector housing side. SOLUTION: In a connector 10 in which another connector housing 60 is either freely fitted with or detached from one connector housing 50 in a stand-by state of fitting in a cover 30 with a holder 20 and a cover 30 temporarily locked, temporarily locking means 26, 34 to keep the stand-by state of fitting of the one connector housing 50 on the holder 20 and on the cover 30, while tapered surfaces 25, 33 for guiding the fitting are formed on end parts of the holder 20 and the cover 30 on the fitting side of another connector housing 60, and the holder 20 and the cover 30 are made temporarily lockable so that these tapered surfaces 25, 33 are almost on the same plane.</p> |
