<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize transfer paper by retreating the paper to which an image is not transferred yet and which is positioned on a carrying path on the upstream side of a resist roller to a predetermined retreat position when jamming occurs at a paper supply part on the most upstream side of the carrying path. SOLUTION: When the jamming occurs, an electromagnetic clutch 30a is turned on when a paper supply tray 21a at an uppermost stage is used, the electromagnetic clutches 30a and 30b are turned on when the paper supply tray 21b under the tray 21a is used, the electromagnetic clutches 30a, 30b and 30c are turned on when the paper supply tray 21c under the tray 21b is used, and the electromagnetic clutches 30a, 30b, 30c and 30d are turned on when the paper supply tray 21dc at a lowermost stage is used.</p> |
