<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the ON/OFF of a power supply for a peripheral equipment using a software switch for a main power supply switch to interlock with the ON/OFF of a power supply for a computer body. SOLUTION: A CPU 3 stores the end state of each software switch in an EEPROM 4 at the time of its end. When voltage of +5V is supplied from a power supply circuit 2 by external factors F1, F2 for fixed time (time required from the start of the CPU 3 up to the processing of an ON/OFF control signal), the CPU 3 is started. After starting the CPU 3, the ON/OFF signal is immediately turned on and the circuit 2 is allowed to always supply power to the CPU 3. The CPU 3 refers to preceding end status data stored in the EEPROM 4 and controls the power supply of respective devices in accordance with the state of the end status data.</p> |
