<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven power steering device, including a motor which has advantages of a large output and a high strength against external impacts and enables the achievement of the advantages, without the increase in the size of the motor and increasing uselessly the manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: A motor which is applied to a vehicle power steering device and generates a supplementary steering force which supplements a manual steering force has a permanent magnet 30, which faces a core and exciting coils attached to a housing 22 and consists of two types of magnets which have cylindrical shapes, have different mechanical strengths or impact resistance and are layered in a radial direction. The 1st magnet 32 with the small mechanical strength or the small impact resistance is covered with a 2nd magnet 36 with the large mechanical strength or the large impact strength.</p> |
