PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for eliminating an AC electric field in front of a monitor. SOLUTION: This device is composed of a metallic plate provided on the front end of a case body 32, a first signal processing circuit connected between a horizontal deflection circuit 40 and the metallic plate so as to generate output on the metallic plate by the horizontal deflection signals of the horizontal deflection circuit 40 in order to form the inverted AC electric field opposite to the AC electric field generated by the horizontal deflection circuit 40 for eliminating the AC electric field in front of the monitor 30 generated by the horizontal deflection circuit 40, a second signal processing circuit connected to a fly-back transformer 42 for generating the output by ripple signals so as to generate the inverted AC electric field opposite to the AC electric field generated by the ripple signals and a mixer for connecting the output of the first and second signal processing circuits and generating the output on the metallic plate so as to eliminate the AC electric field generated by the horizontal deflection circuit 40 and the ripple signals in front of the monitor 30. |
