PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the processing time for recognizing whether or not they are forgery data. SOLUTION: In the case that printing data from a host computer 1 are image data, the size and the size of illegal image data stored in a forgery data memory 109 beforehand are compared and in the case that they coincide, the recognition processing of the forgery data is performed by comparing the image data with the illegal image data stored in the forgery data memory 109 beforehand. In the case that they do not match, the recognition is not performed. Also, in the case of character data, the recognition is not performed either, the font is referred to from a ROM 102 and conversion to a character image is performed. Also, in the case of control data, the recognition is not performed and the control data are processed. Then, the image data are converted to the image data on a frame memory (RAM 103), at the time, in the case that the recognized results match, rewrite to the black solid image of the same size is performed, a part of colors is changed and the input image data are not outputted as they are. |
