<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protocol data unit(PDU) retransmission control system of service specific connection oriented protocol(SSCOP) with which processing of a PDU can be prevented from being disabled after the PDU which can not be received on the side of reception. SOLUTION: When omission of a sequence number of a received PDU is detected at a reception side 102 in a PDU retransmission control system for SSCOP as a communication control protocol consisting of a B-ISDN, a retransmission request of the PDU of the sequence number is issued to a transmission side 101. In this case, the times of retransmission request are counted by a counter, and when the same retransmission request is sent from the reception side 102 more than a predetermined number of times, the occurrence of any fault on the transmission side 101 is judged. Then, recovery processing on the transmission side 101 is started and the transmission side 101 is recovered into normal state.</p> |
