PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact input device for smoothly operating input to an electronic equipment. SOLUTION: In an input device 30 which operates input to an electronic equipment when this device is operated by an operator, when a spherical body 30 having plural holes 31a on the surface is rotated or moved, an input part 40 having a protruding part 41 provided so as to be inserted into or pulled out of the hole 31a of the spherical body 31 is moved according to the rotation or movement. This movement is detected by a direction sensor and a pressure sensor 50 so that inputted information can be selected and certified.
