<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ATM system and an ATM packet configuration method, in which the circuit configuration is simplified and the capacity of a memory is decreased. SOLUTION: An input circuit 21 receives an interleaved ATM cell, obtained from an ATM packet corresponding to each virtual channel to check the ATM cell of the ATM packet of a selected virtual channel based on ATM packet trailer information, included in the ATM cell of the ATM packet. A reception buffer 23 outputs the payload of the ATM cell to a main processor 31 in the interleaved original state, together with check data denoting the result of the check.</p> |
