The page marker consists of a holder (1) for the book with supports at top and bottom, each equipped with a pivoted and spring-loaded lug (4, 5). The two supports are connected to a spring (10) inside the holder so that the page marker can be fitted to books of different sizes. The lugs are made from a flexible and lightweight material and are curved so they retract automatically as a page is turned.
