PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a small-sized control equipment of a stepping motor at a low cost, which does not use complex control and generate step-out and is superior in reliability. SOLUTION: This control equipment consists of a detecting part 2 detecting the rotor position of a stepping motor 1, a control part 6 comparing a detected value from the detecting part 2 with a position command value, and outputting a signal corresponding to a current to be applied to a motor winding on the basis of the comparison deviation, and a driving part 7 outputting a motor driving current according to the output signal from the control part 6, and controls the position of a motor 1 by the position command value. The deviation range and its direction are inputted in the control part 6, which excites an excitation sequence in which a position designated by the position command value is set as a stable point, when the deviation range is in a specified range. When the deviation range is outside a specified range, the control part 6 excites an excitation sequence, in which a position corresponding to the rotor position is set as a stable point by the detected value and the deviation direction. Thus the excitation sequences are generated. |
