PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently set up optimum division lines by dividing an electrode substrate into plural mutually different areas less than the allowable number of reticles, and when the number of division lines does not satisfy a reference value, redividing the substrate into plural areas including identical areas. SOLUTION: The display device pattern layout method is used for setting up division lines 500 for dividing an electrode substrate 400 constituting a display device into plural areas corresponding to exposure areas based on a setting procedure including 1st and 2nd routines. In the 1st routine, various data including the number of reticles ('6' in this case) are inputted and the substrate 400 is divided into plural mutually different areas less than the allowable number of reticles ('6') to set up division lines 500. When the number of division lines 500 does not satisfies the reference value, division lines 500 for dividing the substrate 400 into plural areas including at least one pair of identical areas is set up as optimum division lines in the 2nd routine. |
