PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sheet-type photosensitive material which hardly causes deterioration. SOLUTION: As for a buffer sheet (protecting sheet) used to house a sheet- type photosensitive material in a light-shielding container, a pulp sheet 5 coated with a synthetic resin 4, 6 on both faces is used. The synthetic resin layers 4, 6 of the pulp sheet coated with the synthetic resin layers consist of polyethylene having 35 to 65 μm thickness. Preferably, the synthetic resin layers of the pulp sheet coated with the synthetic resin layers consist of a resin which has low moisture permeability and low moisture absorption and can be easily processed. The resin is selected from polyolefin resin such as polyethylene (high density polyethylene, low density polyethylene) and polypropylene or polyester resin such as polyethylene terephthalate. The low density polyethylene is preferable as the material for the synthetic resin layers since it is inexpensive and has good processability. |
