<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a process of profitably preparing a toner useful in the formation of a high glossiness image in a high yield without using a surfactant. SOLUTION: An emulsion latex contg. an amine and a sulfonated polyester resin is mixed with a colorant dispersion and the mixture is heated and optionally cooled to prepare the objective toner. The polyester resin is, e.g. poly(1,2- propylene-sodium 5-sulfoisophthalate) or poly(neopentyl-sodium 5- sulfoisophthalate).</p> |
