PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet-like battery with proper sealing property, and to provide a method for manufacturing the battery. SOLUTION: This sheet-like battery is manufactured by layering a positive electrode film 2 on one face of a solid electrolytic substance separator 1, further layering a positive electrode collector film 4 having a terminal 14 on the positive electrode film 2, in the meantime layering a negative electrode film 3 on the other face of a solid electrolytic substance separator 1, further layering a negative electrode collector film 5 having a terminal 15 on the negative electrode film 3 to realize a sheet-like battery cell 9, and packaging the sheet-like battery cell 9 with a thermally fusible resin-coated aluminum foil, while exposing the tip parts of the terminals 14, 15. The thermally fusible resin 6 is applied thick to the sealing parts of the terminal 14 of the positive electrode collector film 4 and the terminal 15 of the negative electrode collector film 5 of the sheet-like battery cell 9, and then the packaging of the battery cell 9 with the thermally fusible resin-coated aluminum foil is so carried out as to expose the tip parts of the terminals 4, 5, and consequently the sheet-like battery manufactured has proper sealing properties. |
