PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a record medium having improved reflectivity, window margin, jitter, stability, etc. SOLUTION: An optical disk as this record medium has a transparent substrate 10, a recording layer 20 on the substrate and a reflection layer 30 formed of gold on the recording layer. In order to substantially improve the window margin, the reflectivity, the jitter and the stability, the optical disk is treated by heating for a sufficient time at a temp. existing within a range of about 50 to 120 deg.C, by which these characteristics are changed. |
